BIN [Baltic Interface Net]

Thursday, November 26 / 14:00-19:00
Friday, November 27 / 11:00-18:00
(Location: Arhitektu nams, Torna iela 11)

BIN is the 2nd conference on cultural collaboration and network developments in the Baltic Sea region. First BIN meeting was held in Stockholm, June 1998.

One of the outcomes of the 1st BIN Conference in Stockholm was the idea of the establishment of a project pool with the conference in Riga in mind. All the states will contribute suggestions (on current or newly drafted projects) to be discussed in Riga. The Danish delegation proposed the three conditions:
The projects should be specific to the individual countries, they should interact with other of the participating projects and be aimed at the Internet in a creative manner.
