The event will take place at Art Museum "Arsenals" and outdoors, in November 27, 1998 - in-between 2  international conferences - Baltic Interface Net [BIN] and "Art+Communication III".
Baltic Party is audio-visual-public presentation of the idea to establish the Digital Media Culture centre in Riga.
The keywords for this project are - new media, art, club culture, music and interaction between all of them - with the aim to develop the network for cultural collaboration and information exchange in media culture field within the Baltic countries - Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.

The title of the Baltic Party - Kongress Tanzt.
Musical concept - Jazz integration in modern club culture - will be presented by DJs from Copenhagen, London and Riga. The programme also includs: live concert, video screenings, slide-show and authentic ethnic live music jam session outdoors.
